Our first report comes from the city of Surprise,   where a woman reported seeing a gold-colored object that sat still in the sky before fading from view. Our second report is from the city of Tempe, where a woman and her husband saw multiple, globe-like objects in the sky.      Our third report comes from a man in Camp Verde who saw multiple objects move in the clouds, and finally we have a report of 4-5   objects over Phoenix. The witnesses called in their report to 911, and tried to call Luke AFB, but the operator would not give them the telephone number. document.write('  One of the most discussed events lately has been author Leslie Kean\'s guest appearance on the Colbert Report. Kean has gotten a lot of attention lately as her new book, &quot;UFOs: Generals, Pilots and Government Officials Go On the Record&quot; is climbing up Amazon\'s list, and raising a lot of controversy.    I don\'t know what you think about Stephen Colbert, but he is the kind of host that you either love or hate, and in this case, he has really been in the hot seat from UFO proponents. He made fun of Kean, and UFOs in general. He does thrive on controversy.    One good thing that came from the interview was a renewed interest in the  Chicago O\'Hare UFO. document.write('  MUFON\'s Jeffrey Gonzalez (California), received a frantic phone call on the 24 hour hotline on August 23. The callers were screaming, &quot;It\'s trying to take off, it\'s trying to lift!&quot;      Gonzalez learned that witnesses had seen a black triangle craft crash into a mountain just north of Fresno. Gonzalez rushed to the location to see three bright lights coming from the crash site, and vehicles surrounding the scene.      When daylight broke, a strange stingray-shaped vessel in front of an abandoned shack on the mountain could be seen. There were also two massive burn marks on the hill.      What all of this means is uncertain at this time. But, when more information comes in, I will post an update. Jim Courant has about 30,000 flight hours to his credit, and his status as an experienced passenger airliners captain cannot be denied.    So is his conviction that UFOs are real. Courant stated that &quot;I got the proof that I was after. &quot;That\'s the part I won\'t discuss. But obviously something has kept me in this, taking the chances I\'ve taken.&quot;    This tantalizing statement makes us wonder just what Courant does know.
